How do I know which type of safari booking applies to my travel date?

You don't need to — our system figures it out automatically. Just select your travel date in the booking form and we'll show you the available vehicles, shifts, and pricing that apply to that specific date. No jargon, no confusion.

Can I choose a specific zone?

Accepted Answer

No — and be careful of anyone who says otherwise. Zones are allotted by the Forest Department when the permit is issued, so no agency can guarantee a specific zone. What you can do is request a range in the booking form: core zones 1–5, buffer zones 6–10, or any open zone. That request goes forward with your booking and we push for it, but the final call is the department's.

Which zones are open on which days?

Accepted Answer

Not every zone runs every day, and this holds all year. On Tuesdays only zones 1–5 are open — zones 6–10 stay closed. On Wednesdays it is the reverse: only zones 6–10 run and zones 1–5 stay closed. Every other day all ten zones operate. On top of that, core zones 1–5 close for the whole monsoon season, July to September, while buffer zones 6–10 stay open all year. Put the two together and one date falls out: a Tuesday during the monsoon has no safaris at all, because Tuesday runs zones 1–5 only and those are shut for the season. Pick your date in the booking form and it will show you exactly what is open that day.

When is my safari booking confirmed?

Accepted Answer

Your enquiry is received immediately and you'll get a confirmation email right away. The actual park safari ticket is confirmed after our team verifies availability with the park authorities — usually within 12–24 hours. You'll receive a second email once confirmed.

Question 5

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If your booking cannot be confirmed by the park, the full amount is refunded — no deductions, on any booking type. If you cancel after confirmation, it depends: your payment is a Forest Department permit fee plus our service charge, and on an advance booking only the permit fee can come back, as far as the Forest Department's policy allows. The service charge is not refunded, and Current, Tatkal and Premium Tatkal bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. See the full cancellation and refund policy before you pay.

Is online payment mandatory? Can I just send an enquiry?

Online payment is optional. You can always choose "Send Enquiry" and our team will contact you to confirm and share payment details. The "Pay Online" option is available for direct bookings when slots are open.

I'm an international tourist — can I book from abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. We accept international payments and display prices in both INR and USD. Foreign nationals have a separate pricing structure per park rules — this is automatically applied when you select "Foreigner" or a mixed group in the booking form.

What's the difference between Gypsy and Canter?

Accepted Answer

A Gypsy is a small open-top jeep (6 seats, priced per vehicle) — ideal for families, couples, and photographers who want a private, flexible experience. A Canter is a larger open-top vehicle (20 seats, priced per seat) — economical for large groups or budget-conscious travellers.
